In September 2022, Dr. Gencay Çubuk served as the moderator of the closing ceremony of Italian Design Days, organized within the International Italian Design Days program. The event was hosted by Giorgio Marrapodi, Ambassador of Italy to Türkiye, and featured Rahmi Koç, a prominent business leader who has made long-standing contributions to Turkish–Italian cultural relations, as the guest of honor. The program was coordinated by Pınar Sipahi.
